I’m usually not a fan of these types of museums but this one was very good. It was also a much better value than a lot of other sights in Plovdiv. Recommended. more »

A great place to learn more about life in the olden days in Bulgaria in general and in Plovdiv specifically. It's really worth to take a local guide in the museum to make the most of the visit, and it costs a mere 10 BGN (5 €). If you want to take photographs or film inside, you have to pay. The outside of the beautiful building and the garden with a very impressive tree are free to visit and to take pictures.

Large nobleman house, very elegant and with a splendid garden. Inside each room there is an exhibition showing info and objects relevant for Bulgarian traditional lifestyle. We paid 10 leva as a family ticket for 3. Views are nice and we enjoyed the garden.
