Take a look at more than 160 years of history of glassworks manufacture at Moser. The newly designed, modern exhibit features the oldest examples of glasswork all the way to contemporary collections. As you watch glassmakers at work, you can smell the aroma of burnt-out wooden molds. Pick up an audio guide to explore at your own pace. The factory store offers an array of the Moser colors, such as amethyst, rose, blue, aurora, and green. Ask them to ship anything you buy so you don't risk breakage during your travels. See Moser and all Karlovy Vary has to offer by arranging your trip with our Karlovy Vary day trip tool.

  • I stopped by for only a few moments and, literally, was amazed by the beautiful pieces of glass work. There is a store to purchase, if you like, or just browse and take it all in.

  • As we were short for time, we decided only to visit the museum. We were given an English headset, which corresponded with some numbers on TV's around the museum. It wasn't clear which numbers...

  • The factory tour was really interesting (and hot!). We were able to watch the process for quite a while, and ask questions of the people employed there, through our guide. The museum was small than I expected, but had some lovely examples.
  • It was great to see the real factory where staff where making the glass, however we and the kids were very disappointed that the tour only took around 15 min (that was without the museum). Most of that time we got a talk outside of the factory explaining how it worked (interesting to hear). Inside, to really look at the production process we were for only a few minutes and could only stand in a corner, so only saw the blowing of the glass. I was hoping we could see the full production of the glass, from the first stages (which we saw) till finalising the product).
