Filmpark Babelsberg, Potsdam

#2 of 9 in Theme Parks in Brandenburg
An interactive feature of Europe's oldest and largest film studio, Filmpark Babelsberg is a full-immersion film experience. From the very beginning, the movie studio that inspired the park was known for pushing the boundaries of what's possible in film, from Fritz Lang's "Metropolis" to "Cloud Atlas." In 2010, the attraction continued the studio's tradition of exciting entertainment by offering a theme park. The Dome is the most visible site in the park. Inside, it is a virtual activity that equips you with eye gear to transport you to the set of major motion pictures. Take the behind-the-scenes tours through some of the studio's previous productions, or attend a stunt show with flying motorcycles and swashbuckling musketeers. • The film park isn't particularly big, and it can't keep up with modern adventure parks and their high-tech attractions. But he doesn't have to and doesn't have to. The attractions are more of a thing for lovers, but especially for smaller children who see something and don't want to be afraid all the time. There's a boat ride with the little tiger of Oh how beautiful is Panama, you can see Furchur, the Kinoral Queen's dragon and a crazy "rollercoaster ride" over the Chinese wall. The food in the restaurants is good, although not quite cheap (parking prices halt). Overall, we had a very nice, relaxing day at the Babelsberg Film Park. We highly recommend it to all visitors to Potsdam-Babelsberg.

  • The film park has its pinnacle behind it. The stations are clearly in the years. Except the 4D cinema, that's cool! The entrance fee and the bid are in poor proportion. A lot of things cost extra.

  • Do not recommend - 65 Euro for family ticket plus 4 Euro for parking plus a lot of attractions and plays cost extra. Place is small in addition, the shows are not suitable for smaller children. Not clear what we have actually paid for...
  • I remembered it way better then it is. Pros: Stunt show is very cool and the 4D cinema as well. Cons: the free and worth seeing attractions all stop at like 4 pm. The last 4D movie is at like 4:30 pm after that you can only go to the ones that cost. We sat down in a small theatre to watching the documentary about the place. When it was done a lady yelled at us for still being here cause apparently the park already closed. Overall a sad experience.
