Ben-Gurion's hut (Hebrew: צריף בן גוריון‎, Tzrif Ben Gurion) was the retirement home of Israeli Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion and his wife Paula (Pola) from the years 1953 until Ben-Gurion's death in 1973. The "hut", located on Kibbutz Sde Boker, was preserved exactly as it was left by Ben-Gurion and now serves as a museum with a visitor's center operated by the Ben-Gurion Heritage Institute.

It touches your heart seeing the humble dwelling of David Ben Gurion. No wonder he was "father of his country". You cannot have anything other than sheer respect for Ben Gurion. more »

A trip back in time to visit the life of Israel's first prime minister David Ben Gurion. The house where he lived remained his legacy and reflects what life was like for a pioneer politician in a young country. Worth a visit, great place for both adults and children.
