Witness the historical development of Japan's fire department on a family-friendly tour of Fire Museum. Start on the sixth floor, where special exhibits and a children's room complete with firefighter-related games and videos will keep all ages entertained. Working downwards, chart the progression from the perils of 17th-century firefighting, depicted in a traditional bunraku puppet show on the fifth floor, through to the technological advancements since the mid-1800s, showcased on the fourth floor. Today's high-tech equipment sported by mannequins on the third floor offer an interesting contrast. Cap off the tour with a bite to eat and a view of the area on the tenth-floor observation deck.
