A gateway to the island, Hakodate has gained a reputation for its waterfront attractions, its proximity to some of the island's most popular natural sites, and its seafood.

Singapore, Singapore to Hakodate is an approximately 12-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. The time zone difference moving from Singapore Time (SGT) to Japan Standard Time (JST) is 1 hour. In September, Hakodate is slightly colder than Singapore - with highs of 26°C and lows of 18°C. Perhaps the island's best-known hot spring resort, Noboribetsu has a long history of tourism.
Start off your visit on the 11th (Fri): look for gifts at Noboribetsu Dairy Farm, take in the natural beauty of Oyunuma, take in the dramatic natural features at Jigokudani, witness a stunning natural landmark at Oku no Yu, then relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, and finally witness a stunning natural landmark at Oyunumagawa Natural Footbath.

Situated in the center of the island, Furano has become known for its idyllic rural landscape, and the drastic changes it experiences as seasons shift.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Campana Rokkatei and Onsen Resorts. Venture out of the city with trips to Biei-cho (Tokachidake Bogakudai Observation Tower & Shirogane Blue Pond), Daisetsuzan (in Kamikawa-cho) and Higashikawa-cho (Asahi-dake & Susoaidaira). There's lots more to do: admire the natural beauty at Choei Lavender Farm, make a trip to Hokkaido Central Mark, visit Glass Forest in FURANO, and learn about winemaking at Furano Wine Factory.
