A gateway to the island, Hakodate has gained a reputation for its waterfront attractions, its proximity to some of the island's most popular natural sites, and its seafood.
On the 10th (Thu), take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Mount Hakodate, stop by Hakodateyama Ropeway Sancho Shop, take a stroll through Motomachi, then browse the eclectic array of goods at Ganso Hakodate Asaichi, and finally test the waters at a local thermal spa.

Singapore, Singapore to Hakodate is an approximately 12-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 1 hour traveling from Singapore to Hakodate. Traveling from Singapore in September, expect Hakodate to be a bit cooler, temps between 26°C and 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 10th (Thu) so you can travel to Sapporo.

A modern, bustling city known for its beer brewery, Sapporo attracts millions of visitors with its Snow Festival, during which elaborate ice and snow sculptures are exhibited all over town.
Start off your visit on the 11th (Fri): get some fabulous bargains at Mitsui Outlet Park, Sapporo Kitahiroshima, then indulge your thirst for a good beer at Asahi Breweries Hokkaido Brewery, then get into the urban bustle at Sapporo Underground Shopping Centre Aurora Town, and finally boost your wellbeing at a local thermal spa. Keep things going the next day: get great views at Sapporo TV Tower, walk around Odori Park, then browse the different shops at Odori Bisse, and finally steep yourself in history at Former Hokkaido Government Office Building.

Traveling by combination of shuttle and flight from Hakodate to Sapporo takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or drive. In September in Sapporo, expect temperatures between 23°C during the day and 20°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 12th (Sat) early enough to take a train to Otaru.
