Your inner history buff will appreciate Takehara Townscape Preservation Area and Fukuyama Castle. You'll discover tucked-away gems like Hirayama Ikuo Museum of Art and Kojoji Temple. Get out of town with these interesting Onomichi side-trips: Fukuyama (Tomo no Ura & Sensui Island) and Okunoshima Island (in Takehara).
