You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Wed): steep yourself in history at Halaszbastya, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Matthias Church, then snap pictures at Szechenyi Chain Bridge, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), and finally get a sense of history and politics at Hungarian Parliament Building. On the 30th (Thu), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: appreciate the history behind Hősök tere, see the interesting displays at House of Terror Museum, then steep yourself in history at Liberty Statue, and finally admire the masterpieces at Hungarian National Gallery (Magyar Nemzeti Galeria).

New Delhi, India to Budapest is an approximately 13-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly. You'll gain 4 hours traveling from New Delhi to Budapest due to the time zone difference. Traveling from New Delhi in April, expect Budapest to be colder, temps between 20°C and 5°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 30th (Thu) so you can catch the train to Vienna.
