You can take a train from Hiroshima to Kyoto in 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. In September, daily temperatures in Kyoto can reach 83°F, while at night they dip to 68°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 9th (Wed) so you can drive to Fujikawaguchiko-machi.
