Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Thu): enjoy the sand and surf at Kondoi Beach and then take a leisurely stroll along Nishi Pier. Here are some ideas for day two: kick back and relax at Yonehara Beach, enjoy the sea views from Cape Hirakubozaki, and then take in panoramic vistas at Tamatorizaki Observatory.

The time zone difference when traveling from Abu Dhabi to Ishigaki is 5 hours. Iriomote-jima

Taketomicho Iriomote-Jima stands as the second largest island in Okinawa.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Sat): step off the mainland to explore Iriomote Island and then scramble along the landscape with a canyoning and rapelling tour. On your second day here, paddle through the water with a kayaking and canoeing tour and then enjoy the sand and surf at Ida no Hama Beach.

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Get in touch with nature at Toguchi no Hama and Aragusuku Beach. Family-friendly places like Sunayama Beach and Yonaha Maehama Beach will thrill your kids. Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Scuba & Snorkeling and Okinawa Peace Memorial Park. Do some cultural sightseeing at Zakimi Castle Ruins and Sefa-Utaki. Explore Onna-son's surroundings by going to Motobu-cho (Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium & Okichan Theater), Nakijin Castle Ruins (in Nakijin-son) and St. Clara Church (in Yonabaru-cho).
