Onna-son

Located on the coast in the middle of the island, Onna-son has become known for its beaches and seaside economy.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Scuba & Snorkeling and Nirai Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Kouri-jima Island and Stand-Up Paddleboarding. Get out of town with these interesting Onna-son side-trips: Nakijin Castle Ruins (in Nakijin-son) and Sefa-Utaki (in Nanjo). There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Diamond Beach, explore the striking landscape at Cape Manzamo, and look for gifts at Onna Station Nakayukui Market.

Miyakojima

Miyakojima
A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.
Relax by the water at Aragusuku Beach and Sunayama Beach. Step out of the city life by going to Toguchi no Hama and Hora Gyoko no Hama Beach. And it doesn't end there: see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour, take in the views from Ikema Ohashi Bridge, identify plant and animal life at Yabiji, and kick back and relax at Yonaha Maehama Beach.
