Often referred to as the gem of the Amalfi Coast, Positano remains one of southern Italy's most sought-after vacation locales, thanks to its hillside location and picturesque, pastel buildings.
Get in touch with nature at Fornillo and Lido di Ravello. Villa Cimbrone Gardens and Le Vigne di Raito are good opportunities to explore the local culture. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Positano: Spiaggia di castiglione (in Castiglione), Lido Capo di Conca (in Conca dei Marini) and Spiaggia Lannio (in Cetara). There's lots more to do: tour the water at your own pace with L'Uomo e il Mare, tour the pleasant surroundings at Bagni d'Arienzo Beach Club, Positano, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica of Saint Trofimena, and stop by Il Gusto della Costa.

Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Doge's Palace and Peggy Guggenheim Collection are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Bring the kids along to Canal Grande and Piazza San Marco.
