Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Colosseum and St. Peter's Basilica. Get outdoors at Catacombs of Saint Callixtus and Colle del Gianicolo. There's much more to do: steep yourself in history at Palatine Hill, wander the streets of Via Condotti, don't miss a visit to Roman Forum, and explore the ancient world of Pantheon.

Planning Rome trip won't be overwhelming when you use Inspirock's itinerary maker.

If you are flying in from Dominican Republic, the closest major aiports are Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport and Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi – Umbria International Airport. In July, plan for daily highs up to 37°C, and evening lows to 24°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Sun) so you can travel back home.
