Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Get some cultural insight at Colosseum and Pantheon. Vatican Museums and Musei Capitolini will appeal to museum buffs. Take a break from Rome with a short trip to Villa Adriana in Tivoli, about 36 minutes away. There's much more to do: make a trip to St. Peter's Basilica, admire the striking features of Sistine Chapel, appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza Navona, and contemplate the long history of Roman Forum.
