Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Your itinerary includes some good beach time at V Lounge Beach Club and Mediterranea. Head to Via Condotti and Porta Portesefor plenty of shopping. There's still lots to do: explore the galleries of Vatican Museums, delve into the distant past at Pantheon, contemplate the long history of Colosseum, and take in the exciting artwork at Soqquadro APS.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport and Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi – Umbria International Airport. Expect a daytime high around 81°F in September, and nighttime lows around 60°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 30th (Wed) early enough to travel back home.
