For a chance to explore distant corners of the world without ever leaving Denmark, visit Copenhagen ZOO. Established in 1859, this is one of the oldest zoos in Europe, spanning about 11 hectares (27 acres). Famous for its elephant house, designed by renowned architect Sir Norman Foster, the zoo is the only one in Europe sheltering and breeding Tasmanian devils. Other rare species housed here include Amur leopards, okapi, and musk ox. The zoo's Nordic exhibit includes harbor seals, brown bears, and gray wolves. Be sure to drop by the arctic exhibit, noted for its observation tunnel that allows underwater views of polar bears. The animals should be in nature - not in this boring place. You are not close to the animals and they are sill in prison. Only the goats seems to have a great time.

The Copenhagen Zoo is one of the finest zoo's I have ever visited. The variety of animals, walking paths and viewing areas make it unique. Easy to get to from center city. Oh did I mention the new Panda exhibit? Yeah, very impressive. If you are visiting Copenhagen, add this to your must see list.

An excellent experience for the entire family! All the animals you can think of are here. There are different areas to eat and play for the kids. You can pet and play with the little goats and watch the animals being fed at specific times. Overall and amazing and enjoyable experience for your family. Overall a very enjoyable experience for the entire family. And don't forgot to see the cute pandas!
