Casa Grotta di Vico Solitario, Matera

Although the house is interesting and represents the living conditions of the people in the last century, it is a ripoff. We were admitted in, given an English guide. There was audio in Italian. Halfway through they asked us to leave since there was another group coming in. At no point prior to selling us tickets did they mention groups. We managed to see half of the dwelling. When we asked if we could check out the adjacent rooms they rudely refused because they are just "waiting areas". We were never told about it so that we could spend time before the main thing. They were obviously part of the experience since they had pictures and descriptions on the walls. 3€ it's not much but it's too much for this level of service. Would not recommend.

Best museum experience ever, this is the one and only original house still here in 2021 from 1700! Forniture is the same used until 1956! I loved it, hope coming back soon
