Create an itinerary including Campo de' Fiori
Campo de' Fiori undergoes three transformations in a day. Visit in the morning to browse an open-air street market with local produce and souvenirs. By afternoon, the market is gone, and sidewalk restaurants take its place. Come in the evening to experience an electric atmosphere. The square comes alive with music and is packed with people flooding out of restaurants and bars. Look for the ancient La Terrina fountain. Its inscription, translated, reads, "Do the good and let them talk." Take the guesswork out of planning a Rome vacation by using our trip itinerary maker.

  • Lovely outdoor food market. We bought six bags of pasta for $20 to bring home as gifts. Fresh fruit and veggies available. Jars of pesto, olive oil and more.

  • Our visit on Saturday morning. There is not much going on. The market is felt to be geared towards tourists. Spices, products with truffles, oil and vinegar. But also t-shirts and flowers. The square is lined with a number of restaurants and bars. A visit is nice if you want to get to know Rome away from the big culture.
  • Had to meet here fir a food experience trip and so glad I came . Beautiful square with lots of stalls unfortunately not all run by Italian people. The store holders hassle you to buy but just ignore them
