  • We took our 1 year old baby here. It’s quite small but we really love it. The shows were quite good but my son is too young to appreciate it. Would come back again if we visit Fukuoka.

  • Animals seem well taken care of, though they still have an antiquated dolphin show and the porpoise tanks are small. The exhibits are well designed and covers many different ecosystems. The year pass is a very good value though the price of a single ticket seems expensive. One of the better aquariums I’ve been to in Japan.
  • A little outside the main city of Fukuoka. Better to take some food with you. Private car is good for minimize cost as well time. Outside environment is much better than indoor.
