At 600 yen ($4.50) it maybe worth the experience but 1/2 the collection was closed and 1/2 the art shown on the flyer was out on loan. The grounds and the rodin sculptures are very nice...

Last year I was so impressed by this museum without the time to really go through it, I had to return to see a very nice French impressionist collection containing famous artists including van Gogh...

Nice art museum with 2 different buildings. Enjoyed walking through and seeing classical art. Signs in Japanese. There is an app to be in various languages but I couldn't get to work on my android phone. Takes credit card and yen. Grab some post cards of your favorite pieces.

The museum is not big but has amazing collections. From Japanese paintings to European ones. It also has a gift/souvenir shop that sells beautiful postcards. There is also a cafe inside. The food is good and not pricey and the music also good!
