    This is a great place to spend time with your family. We had a wonderful time. I think anyone who is interested in the past and in life here on our planet, the only home life has that we know of, will have good time and get a lot out of visiting here. The train ride from Fukui to Katsuyama was quite scenic as well. It’s worth taking not only for the discounted museum tickets but also the views.

    Awesome Dinosaur museum! The design is top-down so you start by going down a super long escalator and gradually make your way back up to the top. Plenty of big exhibits, tons of info, and they even have presentations by resident researchers and archeologists! I just wish we could have stayed longer!
