Kyoto Insider Sake Experience, Kyoto

This was a fantastic experience and very informative. I learned so much about sake, even how to read the bottles in Japanese! Our guide took the time to walk us through exactly how sake is made, including the various rice used, the polish levels, etc. I got to sample 10 different sakes, including with food and finally got to zero in on which kind of sake I like. I absolutely recommend you check them out when staying in Kyoto.

I became a sake lover during my stay in Japan and wanted to learn more about how it was made and this sake experience was very helpful. We learnt about the making at the brewery and later on sake tasting. Very simple but very informative and effective and our guide was so nice and kind.
