Create an itinerary including Palazzo Pubblico
Atop Mount Titan and overlooking the valley, Palazzo Pubblico represents the center for everything official and political in the city. Restored in 1996, the medieval architecture and preserved clock tower feature icons and symbols of the country, including coats of arms. Generally you cannot go inside the building because of administrative proceedings, but if you linger long enough you may be able to watch the changing of the guards, which happens throughout the day. After your visit, stroll through the adjacent square. See Palazzo Pubblico and all City of San Marino has to offer by arranging your trip with our City of San Marino day trip tool.

  • One of our favourite places in this area: Palazzo Pubblico with its square crenelated tower was built in the late 1800s. The facade is decorated with coats-of-arms of the Republic and its four municipalities, and inside, a staircase leads to the Council Hall on the top floor. It’s pretty crowded during the summer. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
  • I only visited it externally but I can say that it is still a beautiful building
