Bambarakanda Falls (also known as Bambarakele Falls) is the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka. With a height of 263 m (863 ft), it ranks as the 461st highest waterfall in the world. Situated in Kalupahana in the Badulla District, this waterfall is 5 km (3.1 mi) away from the A4 Highway. The waterfall was formed by Kuda Oya, which is a tributary of the Walawe River. The Bambarakanda Falls can be found in a forest of pine trees.

    I recently took a motorcycle trip to the tallest waterfall in Sri Lanka and it was an incredible experience. The ride itself was breathtaking, with winding roads through lush forests and breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape. Upon arriving at the waterfall, we were amazed by its size and power. The falls themselves were a sight to behold, with water crashing down from a great height and mist rising up from the pool below. The surrounding area was also beautiful, with a number of hiking trails and lookout points that offered stunning views of the falls and the surrounding landscape. Overall, this was an incredible trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an adventure in Sri Lanka. Whether you're a seasoned motorcyclist or a beginner, this trip is sure to be a memorable experience.

    The highest waterfall in Sri Lanka. You have to pay to see the waterfall. Very clean and tidy environment. when we visit there was no enough water to fall. It is changing according to weather. Place has benches to sit and see the waterfall. Relaxing 😌 . Please do not put garbage here. Place is super tidy and clean. Well maintained ❤️
