Create an itinerary including Lanta Animal Welfare
Lanta Animal Welfare is a nonprofit charity in southwest Thailand dedicated to improving the lives of animals and relieving their pain and suffering. It's a rescue and rehabilitation center that also runs sterilization and rabies vaccination mobile clinics on Koh Lanta and surrounding islands and regions. It receives no government support and relies on private donations from people around the world. Visit the center and take dogs for walks along the picturesque beach, or cuddle with cats in a fun, safe environment. These animals lived hard lives before they were rescued, and love to meet people and receive affection. If you find a new best friend you simply cannot part with, look into the rehoming program for these animals who deserve a loving home after all they've been through. Inspirock's itinerary builder makes planning a Ko Lanta trip simple and quick.

  • They do such good work for the (stray) animals on Koh Lanta and other Islands as well. Go here, get the tour, see cute animals and make a donation!

  • Most wonderful animal sanctuary, so much space for every animal and all of them are taken care of with a lot of love by all the employees and volunteers. It is great to see all the effort that is put into helping all the street dogs and cats on the island. Another great thing: they help everybody who brings a hurt animal there without charging money if the people don't have any. They rely exclusively on sponsors and donations. If you have the chance, please go and visit the tour through the clinic (10:45 am) and donate a bit of money, they absolutely deserve it.
  • A really insightful and eye-opening experience demonstrating the hard work that goes into caring for the less fortunate dogs and cats in Koh Lanta. The tour guide explained every aspect in detail and showed all the ways you can help without being pushy. You get the chance to see some of the cats in the play area and we also met a lovely dog called Honey bee that we were able to pet and feed a treat. I would definitely recommend.
