The constitutional capital of Bolivia, Sucre has a well-preserved historic center, with many buildings dating back to the city's founding in the 16th century.
On the 18th (Thu), engage your brain at Museo del Tesoro, explore the world behind art at Museum of Indigenous Art ASUR, get engrossed in the history at House of Liberty Museum - Casa de la Libertad, examine the collection at Templo-Museo "San Francisco de Asis", then stop by Inca Pallay Shop, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Museum of the Cathedral - Museo de la Catedral. More populous than the capital and La Paz, and one of the fastest-growing cities in the world, Santa Cruz has become a thriving commercial center, yet retained some of the trappings of tradition.
