Ouidah, historically also called Whydah, Juda, Juida by the French and Ajudá by the Portuguese, formally the Kingdom of Whydah (so named for the Whydah Bird of Paradise), is a city on the coast of the Republic of Benin. Start off your visit on the 16th (Thu): take a peaceful walk through Foret Sacree de Kpasse, contemplate the long history of La Porte Du Non Retour, then see the interesting displays at Ouidah Museum of History, and finally make a trip to Temple des Pythons.
