Rome — 3 nights

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Step out of Rome to go to Tivoli and see Villa Adriana, which is approximately 36 minutes away. There's much more to do: contemplate the long history of St. Peter's Basilica, get to know the fascinating history of Piazza Navona, ponder the design of Trevi Fountain, and delve into the distant past at Colosseum.

To see where to stay, other places to visit, more things to do, and more tourist information, refer to the Rome trip itinerary planning website.

If you are flying in from Argentina, the closest major aiports are Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport and Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi – Umbria International Airport. In October, daytime highs in Rome are 26°C, while nighttime lows are 15°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 8th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
