Rome — 3 nights

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Vatican Museums and Galleria Borghese. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Colosseum and Piazza Navona. Go for a jaunt from Rome to Tivoli to see Villa d'Este about 48 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: pause for some serene contemplation at St. Peter's Basilica, take an in-depth tour of Musei Capitolini, explore the ancient world of Pantheon, and contemplate the long history of Palatine Hill.

Plan my Rome trip by asking Inspirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

If you are flying in from Cyprus, the closest major aiports are Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport, Ciampino–G. B. Pastine International Airport and Perugia San Francesco d'Assisi – Umbria International Airport. In August, plan for daily highs up to 38°C, and evening lows to 24°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Mon) to allow enough time to travel back home.
