Rome — 3 nights

Eternal City
Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.Attractions like Colosseum and Pantheon make great kid-friendly stops. Get some cultural insight at Vatican Museums and Palatine Hill. There's much more to do: steep yourself in history at St. Peter's Basilica, enjoy breathtaking views from Museo Nazionale di Castel Sant'Angelo, pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di Sant'Ignazio di Loyola, and make a trip to Roman Forum.
