Spend time in one of Europe's oldest cities, the vibrant Bulgarian capital of Sofia.

In December, Sofia is little chillier than Madrid - with highs of 7°C and lows of -3°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 18th (Sun) so you can drive to Borovets.
