Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Ginza and Takeshita Street. Senso-ji Temple and Asakusa are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore Tokyo's surroundings by going to Naritasan Shinsho-ji Temple (in Narita) and Ghibli Museum Mitaka (in Mitaka). There's much more to do: admire the natural beauty at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, get close to the beloved marine mammals with Tokyo Gaijins - Day Tours, step into the grandiose world of The East Gardens of the Imperial Palace (Edo Castle Ruin), and visit Akihabara.

Prepare for somewhat warmer weather when traveling from Billund in March: high temperatures in Tokyo hover around 17°C and lows are around 7°C. Old historic castles and Shinto shrines dominate the sightseeing in Kofu, a city fringed by mountains on all sides.
Step out of the city life by going to Shosenkyo and Kakuembo. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Shosenkyokageenomori Museum and Yamanashi Prefectural Museum of Art.
