Museum-lovers will get to explore Katsuren Castle Ruins and Okinawa Prefectural Museum and Art Museum. Get some cultural insight at Nakagusuku Castle Ruins and Okinawa Peace Memorial Park. Explore Onna-son's surroundings by going to Nanjo (Valley of Gangala, Sefa-Utaki, &more), Kunigami-son (Okuma Beach, Daisekirinzan, &more) and The Tower of Himeyuri (in Itoman). Due to the time zone difference, you'll lose 8 hours traveling from Copenhagen to Onna-son. Traveling from Copenhagen in October, expect Onna-son to be much hotter, temps between 33°C and 26°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 7th (Fri) to allow time to travel to Miyakojima.

A city jurisdiction formed after the merger of several towns in 2005, Miyakojima spans six linked-up islands.

Ishigaki, the most populous island in the chain, features the country's southernmost city and acts as a transport hub for exploring the landmasses that surround.
