Rome — 7 nights

Eternal City
Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.Do some cultural sightseeing at Colosseum and Piazza Navona. Take a break from the city and head to Catacombs of Saint Callixtus and Colle del Gianicolo. Step out of Rome with an excursion to Villa Adriana in Tivoli--about 36 minutes away. There's much more to do: contemplate the long history of St. Peter's Basilica, don't miss a visit to Via Condotti, delve into the distant past at Pantheon, and admire the masterpieces at Galleria Borghese.
