Welford Park is a country house and estate in the village of Welford in the English county of Berkshire, situated 5.2 miles northwest of Newbury and 10.9 miles south of Wantage. It is a Grade I-listed building.
The church of Welford St Gregory, one of only two existing round-tower churches in Berkshire, is located adjacent to the house. The various chalk streams that make up the River Lambourn flow through the grounds.

The estate opens its grounds to the public every year for about four weeks to enable visitors to see the carpets of snowdrops that line the riverbanks and flow through the nearby woods.

  • We had left it fairly late in the season but there was still a very good display of snowdrops. We were amazed at the sheer numbers on show, although I don't think there was the range of varieties...

  • Fabulous snowdrops as usual but I had a problem with my mobility scooter in as far as it broke down. I needn’t have worried a very cheerful guy came and took my scooter and myself back to the car...

  • A magical place to visit for snowdrops in February with the densely populated flowers carpeting the ground like snow. There were crocuses, hellebore and aconite as well with daffodils peeping through. The food was well served in a marquee, and the little rooms were close at hand. Well worth a visit.
  • Lovely place to visit, nice cafe in a big marquee, lovely walk through the grounds along the river and through the woods and the snowdrops are beautiful! Also a very old church to see, very beautiful and all in all a very worthwhile trip, I would gladly visit again 😀
