Enjoy panoramic views of Seattle and the surrounding water from 184 m (605 ft) in the air at Space Needle. A symbol of the city since it was built for the World’s Fair in 1962, the tower features a 360º observation deck. Ride the elevator to the top for unobstructed views of the Olympic and Cascade Mountains, Elliott Bay, and the surrounding islands, before stopping for a meal at the rotating SkyCity restaurant. Take a jacket with you when visiting the tower, as the observation deck is known for windy conditions. Plan your visit to Space Needle and a wealth of other attractions, well-known and undiscovered, using our Seattle road trip tool.

Been to Seattle many times, but first trip up on Space Needle. It’s not cheap, but worth doing once just to be able to enjoy the amazing views (go on a clear day) and test your mettle stepping out...

Have to check it off the bucket list, but it sure wasn't very grand! Everyone has to do it at some point, though.

Such a cool tourist spot to visit. Honestly a must see. I love the information on the way up to the entrance. The guy on the elevator ride was funny and very nice. The view was beautiful and so cool to see. I love the little bits of things to look down on and read from the top too. The views really make the city a highlight. When we had an issue with our tickets the service desk solved it right away too! A great experience all around.

What an awesome attraction! This is by far Seattle’s most iconic location. With stunning views of Seattle, and interesting history, and great dining the Space Needle is one of my favorite visits ever. The tickets are slightly pricey, but it is definitely worth the experience. The elevator is very fun to go up and the place is well maintained. You also may meet awesome people up there to. People taking photos and some just observing the magnificence of Seattle! This is an awesome visit and I’m very happy that I went!
